What is TalkTherapy?
We have all been hurt in relationship, however being in corrective relationship is where we find the opportunity to heal.
Psychotherapy is a process of offering a clear mirror and safe haven for communication, exploration, curiosity, and reflection.
The purpose of talk therapy is to gain perspective and help people identify issues that cause emotional distress in order to create proactive plans for active behavior change.
ATR
(Art Therapy)
What is Art Therapy?
Although art is intrinsically therapeutic in it's own right, art therapy is a collaborative effort between client, therapist, and art materials in making the internal world external.
Art therapy uniquely promotes the ability to unlock emotional expression by facilitating both verbal and symbolic communication. It allows indivdiuals to find comfort in the process, express the unexplainable, and move through unresolved emotions.
Through clinical prompts and freeform creation we can create alternative perspectives of looking at personal issues that may not be accessed by traditional means.
LAC & MAC
(Addiction Counseling)
What is Addiction Counseling?
Addiction can come in many forms, whether that be interpersonal connection, impulsive behavior, or toxic relationships with substances.
Our goal in addiction treatment is to promote the recovery of personal autonomy, foster sustainability in daily living, as well as identify and engage in an individual's purpose and meaning for being.
By using a harm reduction model we can recognize the origins of these relationships and behaviors and use skills to implement healthier alternatives.
